One of the sweetest closings in 2022 was handing the keys over to Dan. After 7 months of looking at houses, after several offers being rejected, and even after having an offer accepted and the Seller backing out, it would be accurate to say the process was frustrating and discouraging. In fact, Dan said to me a few times, “I think I need to take a break, Jen.” And yet, as his REALTOR®, I was coaching Dan through it all to not give up. He could have tried to break up with the process of buying (and me, lol), but I continued to encourage (aka “pester”) him with new listings. It’s all something we laugh about now because, eventually, he did end up with the perfect home at the perfect time. For Christmas 2022, Dan’s heart was full of pride and joy as he hosted his family for the very first time in his very own home. One of the sweetest closings; and the sweetest beginnings for 2023!
